Pursuant to section 28 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Sarah Caroline Buchanan, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, rights to convey water over the land described in the First Schedule hereto, containing the rights and powers as contained in the Second Schedule hereto, are acquired for irrigation purposes for a term expiring on the 31st day of December 2050 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Road Realignment in Franklin District—State Highway No. 1, Pokeno

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Sarah Caroline Buchanan, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 20 (1), and to section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for a limited access road, which becomes road, limited access road and State highway and is vested in the Crown on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 20 (1), declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired in connection with a limited access road.
