Transport Act 1962

The Traffic (Auckland City) Notice 1998

Pursuant to section 52 (2) of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21(2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads and Rail, give the following notice:

N o t i c e

(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Auckland City) Notice 1998.

(2) The roads specified in the First Schedule are excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962.

(3) The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area in accordance with regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

First Schedule

SITUATED within Auckland City.

Dominion Road: that portion from its interface with Ian McKinnon Drive to its intersection with Horopito Street.

Ian McKinnon Drive.

Second Schedule

Dominion Road: that portion from its interface with Ian McKinnon Drive to its intersection with Horopito Street.

Ian McKinnon Drive.

Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986

Approval of Course in Map Reading

Pursuant to section 48 (2) (f) of the Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986, and pursuant to a delegation given by the Director of Land Transport Safety in an instrument of delegation dated the 23rd day of December 1996, I, Kevin Nickson, Regional Compliance Officer, Safer People and Operators, hereby approve courses in map reading to be conducted by the following organisation for the purposes of regulation 11 (1) (c) of the Transport (Driver Licensing) Regulations 1987:

A-One Driving School, Whakatane.

Conservation

New Zealand Walkways Act 1975

Declaration That Land is a Walkway—Cooks Cove Walkway

Pursuant to the New Zealand Walkways Act 1990, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Acting Conservator, East Coast/Hawke’s Bay Conservancy, declares that land described in the Schedule hereto, shall be a walkway and shall be known as the Cooks Cove Walkway.

The walkway created by lease 221147.1 over part Lot 64, D.P. 1324, contained in certificate of title 126/62; and shown marked “A” on D.P. 6538.
