Civil Aviation Act 1990

Designation of Country for Open Aviation Market Licences

Pursuant to section 87r of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, I designate Malaysia as a country in respect of whichβ€”

(a) scheduled international air services; and

(b) non-scheduled international flights engaged in the carriage of passengers, cargo or mail for remuneration or hire,

may be carried on, to and from New Zealand, pursuant to and in conformity with an open aviation market licence.

This designation shall come into effect from the date of this notice.

Application for International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 87E (1) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 28 August 1996, I give notice that an application has been received from Pacific Air Cargo Limited of Auckland, for an international air services licence to operate a B727F cargo service in the South Pacific involving services to Auckland, Tonga, Wallis, Apia, Nadi, Brisbane, Noumea and Norfolk Island, including return services between Auckland and Noumea and between Brisbane and Honiara.

Further details of this proposal are available from me at the Ministry of Transport, P.O. Box 3175, Wellington.

Any person or organisation wishing to make representations relating to this proposal must forward those representations in writing to reach me at the Ministry of Transport, P.O. Box 3175, Wellington, on or before 27 August 1998.

Pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads and Rail, give the following notice:

Notice

(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Timaru District) Notice No. 4, 1998.

(2) The roads specified in the Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

Schedule

SITUATED within Timaru District at Waipopo Settlement.

Waipopo Road: from a point 200 metres measured westerly, generally, from Barrett Road to a point 850 metres measured easterly, generally, along Waipopo Road from Barrett Road.

Milford Clandeboye Road: from Rolleston Road to a point 340 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along Milford Clandeboye Road from Rolleston Road.

Rolleston Road: from Milford Clandeboye Road to a point 380 metres measured north-westerly, along Rolleston Road.

Canal Road: from Rolleston Road to a point 260 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along Canal Road from Rolleston Road.

Canal Road (cul-de-sac).
