Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Wellington City Council on 6 November 1997:

"That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Wellington City Council hereby resolves that the pieces of land held by the said city in fee simple and, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same are hereby declared to be recreation reserves within the meaning of section 17 of the said Act".

Wellington Land District—Wellington City

1,0848 hectares, more or less, being Lot 2, D.P. 31855. All the land in C.T. 8C/428.

6.3305 hectares, more or less, being part Lot 1, D.P. 9430. All the land in C.T. 46B/810. Together with easements in easement certificate 848862.3 and subject to easement in transfer B. 520407.1.

9,865 square metres, more or less, being part Lot 662, D.P. 251 and part Section 26, Ohiro District. All the land in C.T. 40A/58. Together with rights in easement certificate 848862.3 and subject to easement in transfer B. 184311.8.

460 square metres, more or less, being part Lot 1, D.P. 7505. All the land in Gazette notice 288700.1.

Reclassification of Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby changes the classification of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, from a reserve for recreation purposes, to a reserve for scenic purposes, within the meaning of section 19 (1) (b) of the said Act.

6.5500 hectares, more or less, being Lot 54, D.P. 46309. All the land in C.T. 20D/1093.

57.7688 hectares, more or less, shown as Otari 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, parts subdivisions VI, VII and VIII and part Section 2, Kaiwharawhara District. All the land in C.T. 255/167.

Change of Classification of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby changes the classification of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, from a reserve for Government purposes (site for an observatory) to a reserve for local purposes (community and administrative buildings), subject to the provisions of the said Act.
