Acting Judge of High Court Appointed

Pursuant to section 11A of the Judicature Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, has been pleased to appoint

to be an acting Judge of the High Court, for a term of 12 months commencing on the 19th day of August 1997.

Acting Major S. L. Bassett, relinquishes his acting rank to be Captain with effect from 28 April 1997.
