Notice Calling Final Meeting

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of Buttle & Co Futures Brokers Limited (in liquidation):

Notice is hereby given that a general meeting of the company will be held at the offices of Coopers & Lybrand, Twenty-ninth Floor, Coopers & Lybrand Tower, 23–29 Albert Street, Auckland 1, at 9.00 a.m. on the 7th day of February 1997, for the purpose of:

(a) Having an account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the liquidation has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of during the liquidation.

(b) Hearing any explanations that may be given by the liquidator.

(c) To consider, and if thought fit, pass the following extraordinary resolution:

“That the books and papers of the company be retained by the liquidator for 1 year from the date thereof and then destroyed.”

Notice of Intention to Remove Companies From the Register

Pursuant to Section 295 (2) of the Companies Act 1955 and Section 320 (2) of the Companies Act 1993

We, Michael Stiassny and Stephen Lawrence, joint liquidators of the above-named companies whose registered offices are situated at Level Sixteen, Southpac Tower, 45 Queen Street, Auckland, hereby give notice that, pursuant to section 293 (1) of the Companies Act 1955 and section 318 (1) of the Companies Act 1993, and having filed with the Registrar our final report on the liquidations in terms of sections 231 and 257 of the Acts, it is intended to remove the companies from the New Zealand Register.

Any objections to the removals, pursuant to sections 296 and 321 of the Acts, must be delivered to the Registrar of Companies no later than the 28th day of February 1997.
