Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Wanganui Conservancy, hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act, and further declares that from the date of the publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette the land described in the Schedule shall be united to form one reserve being the Manunui Recreation Reserve.

In the notice issued on the 16th day of May 1996 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 48, page 1310, amend the following:

1. The heading ‘Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation’ to now read ‘Setting Apart General Land as a Maori Reservation’.

2. Within the New Zealand Gazette which shows “the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule thereto” to now read “the general land described in the Schedule hereto”.
