No. 34 State Highway to include that section of Tamarangi Drive and Kawerau Road at Kawerau from its intersection with Islington Street (at RP 15/4.11), extending generally in a north-westerly direction along Tamarangi Drive and Kawerau Road to the intersection of State Highway No. 30 (at new RP 21/4.15)—a distance of approximately 6.29 kilometres.

No. 35 State Highway to include that section of Customhouse Street, at Gisborne from its intersection with Gladstone Road (at RP 327/0.17) and Awapuni Road generally in a westerly direction to its intersection with State Highway No. 2 (at new RP 335/0.00)—a distance of approximately 8.01 kilometres.

No. 37 State Highway to include that section of Waitomo Caves Road at Hangatiki, commencing at its intersection with State Highway No. 3 (at new RP 0/0.00) and extending in a westerly direction to its intersection with Waitomo Valley Road (at new RP 0/7.33); a distance of approximately 7.33 kilometres.

No. 46 State Highway to include that section of Rotoaira Road commencing at the intersection with State Highway No. 1 (at new RP 0/0.00) at Rangipo, and extending in a westerly direction to the intersection with State Highway No. 47 (at new RP 7/12.63)—a distance of approximately 19.12 kilometres.

No. 50 State Highway to include that section of State Highway No. 50 in Central Hawkes Bay from its intersection with Kereru Road (at RP 49/9.14) in a generally southerly direction to its intersection with State Highway No. 2 (at new RP 90/0.00)—a distance of approximately 31.25 kilometres.

No. 56 State Highway to include the full length of Opiki Road commencing at its junction with State Highway No. 57 at Makerua (at new RP 0/0.00), through Opiki to its intersection with revoked State Highway No. 56, then east along Pioneer Highway through Longburn to its intersection with Maxwells Line (at new RP 22/1.63)—a distance of approximately 22.90 kilometres.

No. 57 State Highway to include that section of road commencing at the intersection of State Highway No. 57 and Opiki Road (at RS 26), proceeding in a north-easterly direction along Makarua Road, Tennent Drive, Old West Road, Aokautere Drive and Fitzherbert East Road to its intersection with State Highway No. 3 west of Manawatu Gorge (at new RP 50/14.68)—a distance of approximately 38.50 kilometres.

No. 77 State Highway to include all of that section of Bangor Road west of Darfield from its intersection with Homebush Road (at RP 79/7.11) extending in an easterly direction to its intersection with State Highway No. 73 (at RP 79/14.89)—a distance of approximately 7.78 kilometres.

No. 84 State Highway to include all of the revoked section State Highway No. 89 from its junction with State Highway No. 6 at Mount Iron (at new RP0/0.00), to Brownston Street in Wanaka (at new RP0/2.63)—a distance of approximately 2.63 kilometres.

No. 98 State Highway to include all of that section of the Lorne-Dacre Road commencing at its intersection with State Highway No. 1 (at new RP0/0.00) at Dacre, extending generally in a westerly direction to its intersection with State Highway No. 6 (at new RP0/21.61) at Lorneville—a distance of approximately 21.61 kilometres.

Conservation

Conservation Act 1987

Declaration of Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes Together With a Declaration That the Area Become a Scenic Reserve

Firstly: Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of that part of the land, described in the Schedule hereto, to which section 62 of the Act does not apply, hereby jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes; and

Secondly: Pursuant to section 7 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby declares that the part of the land in the Schedule hereto, to which section 62 of the Act applies is held for conservation purposes; and

Thirdly: Pursuant to section 8 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation further declares that the conservation area so declared shall hereafter be set apart as a reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as a scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act 1977, subject to the provisions of the latter Act.

24.90 hectares, more or less, being Section 10, S.O. 24165, Block IV, Mid Wakatipu Survey District. Part document 417333A.
