Land and Easement Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in Thames-Coromandel District

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes, the right of way easement in gross described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes, over the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, and further declares the said land and easement vested in The Waikato Regional Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands hereby amends the New Zealand Gazette notice dated 31 May 1995, No. 55 of 8 June 1995 at page 1435 acquiring land for soil conservation and river control purposes by inserting into the Third Schedule the following:

“Part Te Awaiti 1E1 Block; as shown marked “CC” on S.O. Plan 59989”.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Team Member, Crown Property Services, Land Information New Zealand, Nelson:

(a) Pursuant to section 52, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto, to be set apart for a waterworks site which shall vest in The Buller District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 52, declares the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, to be set apart for better utilisation which shall vest in The Buller District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

(c) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for a waterworks site and shall vest in The Buller District
