Aotearoa Institute Change of Name
Pursuant to section 162 (5) of the Education Act 1989, and following a recommendation of the Council of the Aotearoa Institute, I, Wyatt Beetham Creech, hereby give the following notice:
Notice

(1) This notice may be cited as the Te Wananga o Aotearoa Te Kuratini o Nga Waka Notice 1997.
(2) This notice shall come into force on 1 June 1997.

The Aotearoa Institute, established as a Wananga under the Education (Aotearoa Institute) Order 1993 (SR1993/183), shall now be called Te Wananga o Aotearoa Te Kuratini o Nga Waka.

Pursuant to section 101 of the Education Act 1989, notice is given that the first election was held on the 24th day of February 1997, for the board of trustees of the following school:

The proprietors of the said school are entering into an integration agreement with the Minister of Education, pursuant to the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975.
The first meeting of the board of trustees was held on the 11th day of March 1997.

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre
Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 5 April 1995, which was granted under those regulations to Pat Mita in respect of
Te Taumata Te Kohanga Reo, situated at Eltham Primary School, Eltham.
The centre has moved premises.
This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
