Notice Calling Annual Meeting

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of
NZ Meat Industry Savings and Loans Society Limited (in liquidation):

Notice is hereby given in pursuance to sections 280 and 290 of the Companies Act 1955, that the third annual meeting of the creditors of the above-named company will be held in the offices of Grant Thornton, Level Eight, AMP Building, Cathedral Square, Christchurch at 11.00 a.m. on Friday, the 13th day of June 1997 for the purpose:

Having an account laid before it showing how the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of for the period of the 14th day of March 1996 to the 14th day of March 1997, and to receive an explanation thereof by the liquidator.

Every member or creditor entitled to attend and vote at the meeting is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote instead of that member or creditor. A proxy need not be a member or creditor of the company.

Proxies to be used at the meeting must be lodged at the offices of Grant Thornton, AMP Building, Cathedral Square, Christchurch (P.O. Box 2099, Christchurch) not later than 3.00 o’clock in the afternoon of the 12th day of June 1997.

Notice of Creditors Meeting

A meeting of creditors of Lief Hillson Commodities Limited (in liquidation) will be held at the Seventh Floor, 3 Kingston Street, Auckland, on the 12th day of June 1997 at 10.30 a.m.

The meeting will be held to determine whether the creditors wish to appoint John Robert Buchanan and Stephen Glenn Hotchin to be joint and several liquidators in place of the Official Assignee and whether to elect a liquidation committee.
