Resource Management Act 1991
Notice of Approval of Bylaw: Waikato Regional Council
The Minister of Transport and the Minister of Conservation, pursuant to section 424 (6) of the Resource Management Act 1991, hereby give approval to The Waikato Regional Council and The Thames-Coromandel District Council Bylaw No. 7 Foreshore and Waters, resolved by way of special order and confirmed at a meeting of the said Waikato Regional Council on 27 March 1997.

In the matter of the Law Practitioners Act 1982, and in the matter of James Speedy, barrister and solicitor of Papakura:
Pursuant to section 117 of the Law Practitioners Act 1982, notice is hereby given that on the 11th day of November 1996, the New Zealand Law Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal ordered as follows:

That the name of James Speedy be struck off the roll of Barristers and Solicitors of the High Court of New Zealand.

That the practitioner pay to the New Zealand Law Society the sum of $1,844.00 towards the costs and expenses of and incidental to the inquiry by that society.

That the practitioner pay to the Auckland District Law Society the sum of $25,126.88 towards the costs and expenses of and incidental to the inquiry by that society.

Education Act 1989
The Education (Board Fees Reimbursement for Foreign Students) Notice, 1997
Pursuant to section 4D of the Education Act 1989, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice:
Notice
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Education (Board Fees Reimbursement for Foreign Students) Notice, 1997.
(2) This notice will come into force on the 1st day of January 1998.

Interpretation—In this notice—“Foreign student” has the same meaning as defined in section 2 of the Education Act 1989.

Fees to be reimbursed by boards to the Crown—All State schools (other than integrated schools) shall pay to the Secretary of Education for each foreign student enrolled at the school, the fee of $600 per year for each primary school student and $900 per year for each secondary school student.

Revocation—This notice revokes and replaces the Education (Board Fees Reimbursement for Foreign Students) Notice, 1992, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 18 June 1992, No. 90, page 2051.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990
Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre
Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 4 March 1997, which was granted under those regulations to Kerry Thomas in respect of
Centrepoint Pre School, situated at Mills Lane, Albany, Auckland.
The centre has ceased to operate.
This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
