Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Toku Mapihi Maurea Amendment Notice 1997

Pursuant to section 155 (8) of the Education Act 1989, and to a delegation from the Minister of Education, the Group Manager Maori, Ministry of Education, Wellington, hereby gives the following notice:

N o t i c e

1. This notice may be cited as the Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Toku Mapihi Maurea Amendment Notice 1997.

2. The notice entitled, “Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Toku Mapihi Maurea”, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 28 July 1994, No. 75, page 2414, is hereby amended by revoking clause 5 and substituting the following clause:

“5. Constitution of the Board of Trustees—The board of trustees of Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Toku Mapihi Maurea, shall comprise:

(a) Five elected parent representatives

(b) The principal

(c) A staff representative

(d) Not more than four persons co-opted by the board.”

3. This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

1. This notice may be cited as the Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Te Raki Paewhenua Amendment Notice 1997.

2. The notice entitled, “Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Te Raki Paewhenua”, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 20 July 1995, No. 71, page 1904, is hereby amended by revoking clause 5 and substituting the following clause:

“5. Constitution of the Board of Trustees—The board of trustees of Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Te Raki Paewhenua, shall comprise:

(a) Five elected parent representatives

(b) The principal

(c) A staff representative

(d) Not more than four persons co-opted by the board.”

Pursuant to section 155 (8) of the Education Act 1989, and to a delegation from the Minister of Education, the Group Manager Maori, Ministry of Education, Wellington, hereby gives the following notice:

1. This notice may be cited as the Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Rotoriti Amendment Notice 1997.

2. The notice entitled, “Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Rotoriti”, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 11 July 1996, No. 70, page 1750, is hereby amended by revoking clause 5 and substituting the following clause:

“5. Constitution of the Board of Trustees—The board of trustees of Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Rotoriti, shall comprise:

(a) Five elected parent representatives

(b) The principal

(c) A staff representative

(d) Not more than four persons co-opted by the board.”

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 12 (3) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 17 February 1997, which was granted under those regulations to Joanna Te Hana in respect of

Te Kohanga Reo O Arohaina, situated at 103 Fitzherbert Street, Featherston.

The centre had not complied with the conditions specified on the provisional licence by the expiry date.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
