Traffic Regulations 1976

Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Traffic Regulations 1976

Pursuant to regulation 90 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, I, John Andrew Justice, Senior Engineer, hereby exempt the motor vehicles specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements contained within regulation 67 (1) (b) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, to permit these vehicles to display red flashing or revolving lamps, subject to the conditions specified within Schedule 2 of this notice.

Vehicle Details

Any vehicles equipped for attendance at fires and operated or approved by the New Zealand Fire Service.

Schedule 2

Conditions

(i) The vehicles are fitted with one or more revolving or flashing red lights;

(ii) This exemption may be revoked at any time.
