Termination of Dumping Investigation:
Polypropylene Rope From Korea
Notice is hereby given that, acting pursuant to section 11 of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”), I have terminated a dumping investigation in respect of polypropylene rope from Korea (hereinafter referred to as “the subject goods”, as described in the Notice of Initiation of Dumping Investigation of 11 November 1996 (New Zealand Gazette, 14 November 1996, page 4366), and imported or intended to be imported into New Zealand.
The reason that I have terminated the investigation is because I am satisfied under section 11 (1) (a) of the Act that, as a result of investigations carried out, there is insufficient evidence of dumping to justify proceeding with the investigation.
Dated at Wellington this 18th day of March 1997.
JOHN LUXTON, Minister of Commerce.
A copy of the non-confidential version of the Termination Report which contains details of the investigation and the conclusions reached, is available from the Manager, Trade Remedies Group, Ministry of Commerce, P.O. Box 1473, Wellington.
