Civil Aviation Rules

The Minister of Transport intends to make ordinary rules in the following CAR Parts—

Part 71—Designation and Classification of Airspace

and

Part 73—Special Use Airspace

Dockets 1037 and 1106

—pursuant to section 34 (1) (a) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990. The submission time for the proposed part is indicated in the NPRM and is not less than 30 days.

Copies of the Notice of Proposed Rule Making are available for viewing at: Aviation House, 1 Market Grove, Lower Hutt and on application to: The Docket Clerk, P.O. Box 31-441, Lower Hutt 6315.

Traffic Regulations 1976

Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Traffic Regulations 1976

Pursuant to regulation 90 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, I, James Lindsay Graham Bell, Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of the Traffic Regulations 1976 listed in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3 of this notice.

Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990

Pursuant to regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, I, Victor Ian Everiss, Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990 listed in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3 of this notice.

(iii) Lap seat belts manufactured to an approved standard are to be fitted to all front seat positions.

(iv) This Gazette notice revokes and replaces New Zealand Gazette notice No. 1161, dated 19 February 1997.
