Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to section 84 (2) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985, an order was made in the District Court at Christchurch on the 26th day of February 1997, against Morgan Francis Boyd for the confiscation of the following motor vehicle:

Pursuant to section 84 (2) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985, an order was made in the District Court at Christchurch on the 19th day of February 1997, against Fredrick John McCann for the confiscation of the following motor vehicle:

Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

On 3 March 1997 at the District Court at Tauranga, Stephen Tori Nuku of 13 Dunton Drive, Welcome Bay, Tauranga, was convicted and sentenced to 6 months periodic detention and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence for 2 years from 3 March 1997, following his conviction on 1 charge of driving with excess breath alcohol and 1 charge of driving whilst disqualified.

And in addition to the above penalty, Judge McKegg has ordered that a white Nissan Atlas motor vehicle, registered number RO 9466, owned by the defendant, Stephen Tori Nuku be forfeited to her Majesty, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Tauranga, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Tauranga, by 4.00 p.m. the 3 March 1997.

Education Act 1989

Randwick Park School, Manurewa, Board of Trustees Election Notice

Acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, under clause 101 (7) of the Education Act 1989, I approve Friday, 30 May 1997, as the date of the first elections of parent representatives and of a staff representative for the Randwick Park School Board of Trustees.

I also approve Thursday, 12 June 1997, as the date for the first board of trustees meeting.

This notice shall take effect the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 14 November 1995, which was granted under those regulations to Lynley Carr in respect of Ngawari Te Kohanga Reo, situated at 32 Glasgow Street, Balclutha.

The centre has ceased to operate.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
