Land Acquired for Road, Main North Road, Woodend—Waimakariri District

Pursuant to sections 20 and 50 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Regional Crown Property Services, Land Information New Zealand, Christchurch, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the road described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 1 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Road Deviation at Earl Road, Temuka

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Regional Manager, Crown Property Services, Land Information New Zealand, Christchurch, hereby:

(a) Pursuant to section 114 (1), declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto, to be road and vested in The Timaru District Council.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116, 117 and 120, declares the road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped, and declares that:

(i) The area marked “W” on S.O. Plan 16491, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 785/14.

(ii) The area marked “C” on S.O. Plan 14230, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 43D/859.

(iii) The areas marked “X” and “Y” shall vest in The Canterbury Regional Council for river protection purposes.

(iv) The area marked “B” shall vest in The Timaru District Council.
