Authorisation of the Exchange of Marginal Strips for Other Land

Pursuant to the Conservation Act 1987, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator of the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby authorises the exchange of the marginal strips described in the First Schedule hereto for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Southland Land District—Southland District

2180 square metres, more or less, being area marked “A” on S.O. Plan 12195.

2675 square metres, more or less, being area marked “C” on S.O. Plan 12195.

4970 square metres, more or less, being area marked “A” on S.O. Plan 12200.

Pursuant to section 12 of the National Parks Act 1980, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto, shall be set apart as a specially protected area within Kahurangi National Park, to be known as the Honeycomb Hill Caves Specially Protected Area.

This order shall come into force 28 days after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve
