Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7(1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto is held for conservation purposes and it shall thereafter be so held.

Schedule

Otago Land District—Waitaki District

9730 square metres, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. 24607, Block XIII, Town of Maheno. No registration.

Reserves Act 1977

Declaration that Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator, East Coast/Hawke’s Bay Conservancy, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Napier City Council on the 10th day of October 1997:

That in exercise of powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Napier City Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the city in fee simple and, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be a local purpose (recreation) reserve within the meaning of the said Act.

Hawke’s Bay Land District—Napier City

9900 square metres, being part Section 1, S.O. 9727 and part Section 18, S.O. 3580; marked “A” on S.O. 10780.

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, I, the Right Honourable Sir Michael Hardie Boys, Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the First Schedule hereto, to be taken for road and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be taken for local purpose (esplanade) reserve and to be vested in The Porirua City Council on the 14th day after the date of publication of this Proclamation in the New Zealand Gazette.
