Revocation of Notice of Acceptance of Undertaking in Respect of Canned Peaches from South Africa

In accordance with section 15 of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988 ("the Act"), I hereby revoke, with effect from 19 July 1997, the notice entitled “Acceptance of Undertaking in Respect of Canned Peaches From South Africa” dated 19 March 1997 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 27 March 1997, by reason that the subsidy programme to which the undertaking refers has been terminated and the imposition of countervailing duty in respect of which the undertaking was accepted has been terminated, and as a result there is no longer a need for the undertaking.

In accordance with section 15 of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988 ("the Act"), I hereby revoke, with effect from 19 July 1997, the notice entitled “Acceptance of Undertaking in Respect of Canned Apricots From South Africa” dated 25 March 1997 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 3 April 1997, by reason that a review under section 15 (7) of the Act has found that the subsidy programme to which the undertaking refers has been terminated and the imposition of countervailing duty in respect of which the undertaking was accepted has been terminated, and as a result there is no longer a need for the undertaking.
