Declaring Land to be Road and Road Stopped in Far North District

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Regional Crown Property Services, Land Information New Zealand, Auckland, declares:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, the land described in the First Schedule, excluding however, as to the areas of land fifthly, sixthly and seventhly described, the minerals and mining rights reserved to the Crown by section 3 of the Petroleum Act 1937, section 8 of the Atomic Energy Act 1953, sections 6 and 8 of the Mining Act 1971 and sections 5 and 261 of the Coal Mines Act 1979, to be road which shall vest in The Far North District Council; and

(b) Pursuant to section 116, the portions of road described in the Second Schedule to be stopped.

Pursuant to section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Regional Crown Property Services, Land Information New Zealand, Auckland, declares the land described in the Schedule to be set apart for road and remain vested in the Crown and which, pursuant to section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, becomes limited access road and State highway.
