Classification of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator of the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserves, described in the Schedule hereto, as local purpose (harbour works) reserves, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

0.2023 hectares, more or less, being Section 32, Block I, Campbelltown Hundred.

0.1214 hectares, more or less, being Section 33, Block I, Campbelltown Hundred.

Classification of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a scientific reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act, and further, declares that the said reserve shall be known as the Makaro Scientific Reserve.

Pursuant to section 21 (2) (b) of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby prohibits access other than by a permit to the Mokopuna Scientific Reserve described in the Schedule hereto.

Change of Classification of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby changes the classification of the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, from a reserve for Government purpose (wildlife refuge) to a scientific reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act, and further, declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Mokopuna Scientific Reserve.

Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of cultural, recreational and mahinga kai purposes, to be known as Kapowai Reserve for the common use and benefit of the owners of Oturei M5A and their descendants.
