Transit New Zealand Act 1989

Declaring State Highway to be Limited Access Road: State Highway No. 5, Mihi Bridge to State Highway 1/5 Junction

It is notified that Transit New Zealand, by resolution dated 5 November 1997, and pursuant to section 88 (1) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 5 commencing at the southern abutment of Mihi Bridge (at Route Position 99/0.99) and proceeding in a generally south-westerly direction, for a distance of approximately 25.65 kilometres, to the northern junction of State Highways No. 1 and 5 (at Route Position 111/13.74) at Wairakei; as more particularly shown in Plans LA 20/62/1 and LA 20/63/1 and accompanying Schedules held in the office of the Regional State Highway Manager, Transit New Zealand, Hamilton, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Declaring State Highway to be Limited Access Road: State Highway No. 1: Mapou Road to Tawhaa Street

It is notified that Transit New Zealand, by resolution dated 5 November 1997, and pursuant to section 88 (1) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 1, commencing at its intersection with Mapou Road (at Route Position 617/1.35) and proceeding in a generally south-westerly direction for a distance of 4.18 kilometres to its intersection with Tawhaa Street (at Route Position 617/5.53) as more particularly shown on Plan LA 20/21/2 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Regional State Highway Manager, Transit New Zealand, Hamilton, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation, and the Minister of Lands, being the Ministers responsible for the department of the State that has control of the land, hereby jointly declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, is held for conservation purposes and it shall thereafter be so held.

Otago Land District—Central Otago District

7.7503 hectares, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. 24421, situated in Block II, Fraser Survey District. Crown land. No title.

Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How the Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Waikato Conservator for the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation over the recreation reserve described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by The South Waikato District Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

2872 square metres, more or less, being Lot 12, D.P. S. 34149. Part certificate of title 29A/759.
