The Traffic (Tasman District) Notice No. 2, 1997
Pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads and Rail, give the following notice:
Notice
(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Tasman District) Notice No. 2, 1997.
(2) The road in the Schedule is declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed-limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
(3) That part of the Third Schedule of The Traffic (Tasman District) Notice No. 1, 1991* pertaining to the road listed in the Schedule is revoked.

Situated within Tasman District at Upper Moutere:
Moutere Highway: from a point 50 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said highway from Sunrise Valley Road to a point 380 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said highway from Supplejack Valley Road.

Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Traffic Regulations 1976
Pursuant to regulation 90 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, I, Victor Ian Everiss, Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of the Traffic Regulations 1976 listed in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3.

Exemption From the Seat Belt Requirements of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990
Pursuant to regulation 90 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, I, John Andrew Justice, Senior Engineer, hereby exempt the motor vehicles specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements specified in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3.
