Conservation Act 1987

Corrigendum

Declaring the Disposition of Land to be Exempt from Section 24 of the Conservation Act 1987 and Declaring the Disposition of a Leasehold Interest in Land to be Exempt from Section 24 of the Conservation Act 1987

In the notices dated the 13th day of May 1997 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 15 May 1997, No. 49, at pages 1132 and 1133 respectively, the description of the area lastly described in the First Schedule to the notices is amended by changing “752 square metres” to “725 square metres”.

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto, is held for conservation purposes.

2.0234 hectares, more or less, being Section 41A, Block I, Makuri Survey District, as shown on S.O. Plan 12530. Part New Zealand Gazette 1888, page 899. Subject to section 62 of the Conservation Act 1987.

Land Act 1948

Reservation of Land and Classification of Reserve

Pursuant to section 167 of the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Conservation with the consent of the Minister of Lands, hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto for recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977, and further, classifies the said reserve for recreation purposes, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

North Auckland Land District—North Shore City

2000 square metres, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. 68419.

1350 square metres, more or less, being Section 2, S.O. 68419.

170 square metres, more or less, being Section 3, S.O. 68419.

All situated in Block III, Rangitoto Survey District.

All unalienated Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

Revocation of Appointment of the Minister of Internal Affairs to Control and Manage Reserves

Pursuant to section 36 of the Reserve Act 1977, the Minister of Conservation hereby revokes the appointment of the Minister of Internal Affairs to control and manage the Government purpose (wildlife management) reserve described in the Schedule hereto.
