Pursuant to section 153 (1) (b) of the Education Act 1989, I hereby declare that Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Whakapumau I Te Reo Tuuturu Ki Waitaha (No. 4212), will become a composite school on the 28th day of January 1998 and cease to be a primary school on that day.

Dissolution of Board of Trustees and Appointment of Commissioner at Bishop Edward Gaines Catholic School (1607)

Acting under delegated authority, pursuant to section 106 (1) of the Education Act 1989, for the reason that so many casual vacancies have arisen that there is no longer any member of the board who is eligible to preside at meetings of the board, I hereby dissolve the Bishop Edward Gaines Catholic School Board of Trustees and appoint Miss Pamela Halls as commissioner to act in its place.

This notice shall take effect the day after its publication.

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

St Mary’s School, Ellerslie.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on the 18th day of September 1997. A copy of the supplementary agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, 39–45 College Hill, Ponsonby, Auckland.
