Pursuant to section 84 (2) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985, an order was made in the District Court at Ashburton on Monday, the 11th day of August 1997, against Darrell McGregor Young, for the confiscation of the following motor vehicle:

Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

On the 8th day of September 1997, at the District Court at Tauranga, Craig Douglas Grigg of 91 Mansells Road, Tauranga, was convicted and fined $400.00, Court costs $95.00 and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence for 6 months from 20 January 1998, following his conviction on the 8th day of September 1997, for an offence of driving whilst disqualified.

And in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge I. B. Thomas has ordered that a

Holden Torana motor vehicle, registered No. GD 1729 owned by the above-mentioned defendant, Craig Douglas Grigg, be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Tauranga, or a bailiff of the District Court, Tauranga, by 4.00 p.m. on the 8th day of September 1997.

Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

On the 15th day of September 1997, at the District Court at Tauranga, Maringi Bronwyn Paul of 292A Range Road, Papamoa, was convicted and sentenced to 9 months supervision and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence for 2 years from the 15th day of September 1997, following her conviction on the 15th day of September 1997 for an offence of driving with excess breath alcohol.

And in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge D. C. McKegg has ordered that a

Nissan Langley motor vehicle, registered No. OU 4371 owned by the above-mentioned defendant, be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Tauranga, or a bailiff of the District Court, Tauranga, by 4.00 p.m. on the 15th day of September 1997.
