Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve and Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Auckland Conservator of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as a local purpose (service lane) reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Manukau City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

North Auckland Land District—Manukau City

122 square metres, more or less, being Lot 2, D.P. 71157, situated in Block X, Otahuhu Survey District. Part certificate of title 450/81 (cancelled).

Amending a Notice Declaring Land at Wanganui to be Acquired for Railway Purposes

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Warranted Officer, Crown Property Services, Land Information New Zealand, Wellington, hereby amends the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette of 31 July 1997 at page 1935 by deleting the words “sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981” and substituting the words “section 25 (2) of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Restructuring Act 1990”.

Revoking a Notice Authorising a Secondary Use of Land in Rotorua District

Pursuant to section 191 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the notice dated the 4th day of November 1968 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 21 November 1968, No. 75, page 2110, authorising the application of land held primarily for the development of water power (Lake Taupo and the Waikato River power scheme) for recreational purposes, as a secondary use of the land.
