Maori Affairs Act 1953

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of historical significance, a scenic reserve and a meeting place for the common use and benefit of the original owners and their descendants of Waipapa 1 and Te Karaka 1 Blocks.

All that pieces of land situated in Block VII, Rototiiti Survey District and described as follows:

Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae, to be known as Ripia Marae for the common use and benefit of the descendants of the original Maori owners and the people of Ripia.

Survey and Land Information

Public Works Act 1981

Land Acquired for Road and for Local Purpose (Road) Reserve in Tauranga District

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for road and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for a local purpose (road) reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and further declares that the land in both Schedules shall vest in The Tauranga District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

First Schedule

South Auckland Land District

93 square metres, situated in Block XV, Tauranga Survey District, being part Lot 12, D.P. S. 65981; as shown marked “G” on S.O. Plan 59909, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton.

Second Schedule

South Auckland Land District

8 square metres, situated in Block XV, Tauranga Survey District, being part Lot 12, D.P. S. 65981; as shown marked “N” on S.O. Plan 59909, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton.

Land Declared Road in Tauranga District

Pursuant to section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands declares the land described in the Schedule hereto, to be road and vested in The Tauranga District Council.

755 square metres, being part Section 54, Block I, Te Tumu Survey District; as shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 60070, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton.
