In the matter of the Insolvency Act 1967, and in the matter of Ian Gordon Stewart (a bankrupt):
The following order was made in the High Court at Auckland on the 24th day of July 1996:

(1) That Ian Gordon Stewart be conditionally discharged from his bankruptcy.

(2) That, pursuant to section 111 of the Insolvency Act 1967, Ian Gordon Stewart be prohibited, for a period of 6 months after the date of his conditional discharge from bankruptcy, that is until the 24th day of January 1997, from:

(i) Entering into or carrying on any business, either alone or in partnership with any person;

(ii) Acting as a director, or taking part directly or indirectly in the management of any company, or business.

(3) That pursuant to section 110 of the Insolvency Act 1967, Ian Gordon Stewart will, for a period of 6 months after the date of his conditional discharge from bankruptcy, continue to make contributions to the official assignee, at the rate of $275 a week.

(4) That the conditions attached to Ian Gordon Stewart’s discharge from bankruptcy be published in the New Zealand Gazette (Commercial Edition).

The following order was made in the High Court at Auckland on the 31st day of July 1996:

That pursuant to section 111 of the Insolvency Act 1967, Barry James Davis of 1/101 Seymour Road, Sunnyvale, Auckland, is prohibited after discharge from doing the following things without leave of the Court:

(a) Entering into or carrying on any business or class of business, either alone or in partnership with any person;

(b) Being engaged in the management or control of any business carried on by or on behalf of, or being in the employ of, any of the following persons, namely, the bankrupt’s wife, a lineal ancestor or descendant of the bankrupt, the wife or husband of such an ancestor or descendant, a brother of the bankrupt, the wife of such a brother, a sister of the bankrupt, and the husband of such a sister;

(c) Acting as a director or taking part directly or indirectly in the management of any company or class of company or being concerned in the management of any company or class of company.

And that these conditions are to apply for a period of 1 year from the date of the said order, that is until the 31st day of July 1997.

Notice of Appointment of Receivers

Pursuant to Section 8(1) of the Receiverships Act 1993 Richard Dale Agnew and Kevin James Bearsley, chartered accountants of Auckland, were appointed receivers of Kowhai Home Centre Limited on the 16th day of August 1996, under the terms of a debenture giving the holders a fixed and floating charge over the whole of the assets of the company. The property in receivership is all of the company’s undertaking, property and assets.
