The Lynmore School, Rotorua, Board of Trustees
By-Election Extension Notice
Acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, under clause 9(2) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989, I hereby extend the final date for receiving voting papers (and all subsequent actions in accordance with the Education (Trustee Elections) Regulations 1992) for the election of 3 parent representatives for the Lynmore School Board of Trustees. The poll shall now close on 2 August 1996.
This action is being take because it has not been possible for all eligible voters to receive voting papers by the date originally notified, 19 July 1996.
This notice shall takes effect the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990
Cancellation of Licence
Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 19 August 1991, which was granted to Judy Phima in respect of:
Whitihora Te Kohanga Reo, 38 Willoughby Street, Hamilton.
This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Cancellation of Licence
Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 6 May 1996, which was granted under those regulations to Peter Van Ryn in respect of:
Lollipops Playland, situated at Station Village, Petone, Lower Hutt.
The centre has ceased to operate as an early childhood service.
This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975
Integration Agreement
Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that an integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the Canterbury Christian Schools Association, the proprietor of the following school:
Emmanuel Christian School, Christchurch.
The said integration agreement was executed on the 26th day of July 1996. A copy of the agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the national office of the Ministry of Education, Pipitea Street, Wellington.

Hospitals Act 1957
The Hospitals (Eligibility for Exemption) Notice (No. 2) 1996
Pursuant to section 136A of the Hospitals Act 1957, the Minister of Health hereby gives the following notice.
Notice
- Title and commencementβ(1) This notice may be cited as the Hospitals (Eligibility for Exemption) Notice (No. 2) 1996.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
- Class of hospital eligible to be granted exemptionβA geriatric hospital (whether or not that hospital is also licensed as another kind of hospital) is eligible to be granted an exemption under section 136B of the Hospitals Act 1957.

Explanatory Note
This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
Section 136B empowers the Minister of Health to exempt an eligible hospital from all or any of the provisions of any regulations made under section 152 of the Hospitals Act 1957. This notice declares geriatric hospitals to be eligible. Where a hospital is licensed as a geriatric hospital and another kind of hospital, the hospital may be granted an exemption under this notice in respect only of its status as a geriatric hospital.
