Appointment of Members and Chairperson to the New Zealand Conservation Authority

Pursuant to section 6D of the Conservation Act 1987, I hereby appoint the following persons to the New Zealand Conservation Authority:

Mr Gordon Charles Ell, publisher, writer of Auckland

Mr Edward Weller Ellison, iwi liaison manager of Dunedin

Mr John Klaricich, farmer, councillor of Kaikohe

Ms Annette Mary Lees, conservation manager of Auckland

Mr Kerry Marshall, mayor, Tasman of Richmond

Mr James Murray McKee, management consultant of Wellington

Mr George McMillan, land use consultant of Porirua

Sir Duncan McMullin, retired Judge of Court of Appeal of Auckland

Mr Craig Potton, photographer of Nelson

Ms Marian Van Der Goes, lodge owner/proprietor of Kumara

Pursuant to section 6F of the said Act, I appoint each member for a term commencing from the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette and expiring on the 31st day of May 1999.
