Crown Land Set Apart for the Development of Water Power in Waipa District

Pursuant to section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands declares the land described in the Schedule hereto, to be set apart for the development of water power and shall remain vested in the Crown.

3.8800 hectares, situated in Block XIV, Cambridge Survey District, being part river bed (Crown land) and now known as Section 1, S.O. 60367; as shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 60367, lodged in the office of Chief Surveyor at Hamilton.

Land Acquired for a Reserve for Scientific Purposes in Waipa District

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for a reserve for scientific purposes, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Pursuant to section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands, declares the land described in the Schedule hereto, to be road and vested in The Rotorua District Council.

Land Acquired and Land Declared Road in Hamilton City

Pursuant to Parts II and VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for road and shall vest in The Hamilton City Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for a local purpose (segregation) reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and shall vest in The Hamilton City Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

(c) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, to be road and shall vest in The Hamilton City Council.
