Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Te Rawhitiroa Amendment Notice 1996

Pursuant to section 155 (8) of the Education Act 1989, and to a delegation from the Minister of Education, the Group Manager Implementation, Ministry of Education, Wellington, hereby gives the following notice:

Notice

  1. The Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Te Rawhitiroa 1994 Notice is hereby amended by the insertion of the following clause:

5A Constitution of the Board of Trustees

(a) Five elected parent representatives

(b) The principal

(c) A staff representative

(d) Not more than four persons co-opted by the Board.

  1. Clause 5 of the notice entitled Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Te Rawhitiroa 1994, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 28 July 1994, No. 75, page 2414 is hereby revoked.

  2. This notice shall come into force the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 28 October 1992, which was granted under those regulations to Irene Ricketts in respect of:

Glen Private Kindergarten, situated at 66 Tawhai Street, Stokes Valley.

The centre has ceased to operate.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

Our Lady of the Rosary, Waiwhetu.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on the 14th day of June 1996. A copy of the supplementary agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, 65 Waterloo Road, Lower Hutt.

Fisheries Act 1983

Fisheries (Notification of Proposal to Establish the Kawhia/Aotea Harbours and Adjacent Coastal Waters as a Taiapure—Local Fishery) Notice 1996 (No. F32)

Pursuant to section 54D (2) of the Fisheries Act 1983, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Fisheries, acting under an authorisation from the Minister of Fisheries, hereby gives the following notice:

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Notification of Proposal to Establish the Kawhia/Aotea Harbours and adjacent coastal waters as a Taiapure—Local Fishery) Notice 1996.

(2) This notice shall come into effect on the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Proposal—(1) A proposal by the Tainui Maori Trust Board, the Maniapoto Maori Trust Board and the Ngati Raukawa Trust Board to establish the Kawhia/Aotea Harbours and adjacent coastal waters as a taiapure—local fishery has been agreed to in principle by the Minister of Fisheries, after consultation with the Minister of Maori Affairs and after having regard to the provisions of section 54B of the Fisheries Act 1983.

(2) The area that is subject to the proposal is as follows:

AREA 1: The area enclosed by a line commencing at the mean high water mark at Tirua Point on the west coast of the North Island (at 38° 23.45'S; 174° 38.00'E); then proceeding directly through a north westerly direction to a point 38° 23.00'S; 174° 35.40'E: thence proceeding in a northerly direction along a line every point of which is 2 nautical miles seawards of the mean high water mark along the coast to a point 38° 06.75'S; 174° 38.25'E: then proceeding directly through a easterly direction to the mean high water mark at Albatross Point on the west coast of the North Island (at 38° 06.75'S; 174° 40.80'E) and thence to
