Amending Notice Land at Whitmore Street Acquired for Road

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Regional Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, hereby amends the notice with the above heading dated the 3rd day of May 1996, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 9th day of May 1996, No. 45 at page 1257, by inserting in the First Schedule the following:

and inserting in the Second Schedule beneath the description the words “(½ share)”.

Road Re-Alignment at Waiau River Bridge, State Highway No. 1, Hurunui District

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Regional Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, hereby:

(a) Pursuant to section 114 (1), declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto, to be road which, pursuant to section 62 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of the State Highway No. 1 and shall vest in the Crown.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116, 117 and 120, declares the road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped and declares that:

(i) The area marked “EE” shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 29K/851.

(ii) The area marked “DD” shall be set apart for the functioning indirectly of a road.

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Regional Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for road and shall be described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for road diversion and shall vest in The Christchurch City Council on the date of publication of this declaration in the New Zealand Gazette.
