Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Otorohanga District Council on 19 December 1995:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Otorohanga District Council hereby resolves that the land held by the said council in fee simple, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby, declared to be a recreation reserve, within the meaning of the said Act.”

Revocation of Part Tararua Conservation Park

Pursuant to section 18 (7) of the Reserves Act 1987, and to a sub-delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the conservation park status of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the land shall hereinafter be held as a stewardship area, pursuant to section 25 of the Conservation Act 1987.
