Pursuant to section 11 of the Business Development Boards Act 1991, the Minister of Business Development is pleased to appoint
Earle James Hazelwood, general manager of Tauranga
as chairperson of the Bay of Plenty Business Development Board for the period commencing on the 23rd day of May 1996 and expiring with the close of the 22nd day of May 1997.

Electricity Act 1992
Notice of Intention to Seek Approval of the Minister of Energy to the New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for Retrofit Heaters for Spa-Pool Installations 1996 (NZECP 52:1996)
Pursuant to section 38 (2) (a) of the Electricity Act 1992 ("the Act"), I hereby give notice that I intend to apply, after 1 month from the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette, to the Minister of Energy for approval of the New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for Retrofit Heaters for Spa-Pool Installations 1996 (NZECP 52:1996) ("the code"). The code was issued by me on the 15th day of May 1996, acting pursuant to section 36 of the Act.
Comments are requested from any interested parties.
Copies of the code may be obtained from the office of the Chief Electrical Engineer, Sixth Floor, Ministry of Commerce Building, 33 Bowen Street, Wellington or P.O. Box 1473, Wellington.

Cancellation of Licence
Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 1 February 1990, which was granted under those regulations to Lynnette Anne Bruce in respect of:
Rock-A-Bye Baby Daycare Centre, 135 Macleans Road, Bucklands Beach, Auckland.
This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
