Declaration That Land is Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Franklin District Council on the 22nd day of August and the 19th day of December 1995:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Franklin District Council hereby resolves that the land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the First and Second Schedules hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be, in the First Schedule to be a recreation reserve and in the Second Schedule to be a local purpose (community facilities) reserve within the meaning of the said Act.”

1328 square metres, more or less, being Lot 1 D.P. 38780, situated in Block IV, Wharekawa Survey District. All certificate of title 1580/30.

Revocation of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Canterbury, hereby revokes the reservation, as a local purpose (road) reserve, over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Christchurch City Council at such price, and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine. Proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such money to be used and applied for or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
