  1. This is a notice of a product ruling made under section 91F of the Tax Administration Act 1994.

  2. Product ruling No. 96/9 was issued on 16 April 1996. It relates to a superannuation scheme and the application of sections HH 3 (5), JB 3, and the definition of “qualifying trust” in section OB 1 of the Income Tax Act 1994.

  3. A copy of the ruling may be obtained by writing to the Assistant General Manager (Adjudication & Rulings), National Office, Inland Revenue, P.O. Box 2198, Wellington.

Foundation for Research, Science and Technology Act 1990

Notice of Amendment to the 1995 Priority Statement Issued to the Foundation for Research, Science and Technology Published in the New Zealand Gazette on 13 July 1995 Pursuant to Section 7 (1) of the Foundation for Research, Science and Technology Act 1990

A number of technical adjustments have had to be made to 1995/96 baseline levels for the Public Good Science Fund against the new 17 output framework since the issue of the 1995 Priority Statement. Corresponding adjustments have been made to the target funding levels for 2000/01 so that the absolute level of increase for each output above the baseline is maintained. The adjusted targets are set out in Annex A and are to be used by the Foundation for Research, Science and Technology as a basis for finalising output research strategies. In all other respects the Priority Statement remains in full force and effect.
