Gaming and Lotteries Act 1977

Permission to Conduct Within New Zealand a Lottery Conducted Outside New Zealand

Pursuant to section 69 of the Gaming and Lotteries Act 1977, I, Peter Dunne, Minister of Internal Affairs, hereby permit Bay Networks Australia Pty Limited, to conduct within New Zealand, subject to the conditions specified in the Schedule to this notice, a lottery promoted outside New Zealand as a sales promotion scheme to promote the sales of computing networking equipment.

Schedule

Conditions

The permission given by this notice is subject to the following conditions, namely:

(1) Bay Networks Australia Pty Limited will not conduct the lottery within New Zealand after 30 June 1996.

(2) The results of the lottery will be published in the Sunday Star Times on 21 July 1996.

(3) New Zealand winners shall not be subject to any disadvantage as a result of winning a prize. All costs regarding airfare, transport and transfers will be met by Bay Networks Australia Pty Limited.

(4) A New Zealand participant shall have a chance of winning which is equivalent to that of an overseas participant.
