Public Works Act 1981
Land Acquired for Recreation Reserve in Waipa District
Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for a recreation reserve subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and shall vest in The Waipa District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Amending a Notice Setting Apart Land for Justice Purposes in the District of Wanganui
Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Regional Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Wanganui, hereby amends the notice dated 11 March 1996, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 14 March 1996, No. 26 at page 823, setting apart land for justice purposes, by deleting from the said notice the words and figures:
“, subject to the gas pipeline rights granted by transfer B. 380488.1”

Land Acquired for Road and an Easement Over Land (Support Easement) Acquired in Connection With a Road in Auckland City
Pursuant to sections 20 and 50 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Auckland, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule is acquired for road and the support easement described in the Second Schedule over the land described in the Third Schedule is acquired in connection with a road, and the said land and easement shall vest in The Auckland City Council on the 15th day of April 1996.

Second Schedule
North Auckland Land District
Description of Easement
1.1 Her Majesty the Queen for railway purposes (together with her heirs, successors and assigns called “the Crown”) is the registered proprietor of the land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto (called “the servient land”) and the grantor, of the following described rights and The Auckland City Council (called “the council”) is the proprietor of that land described in the Fifth Schedule (the “dominant land”) is the grantee, of a support easement over that part of the servient land described in the Third Schedule (hereinafter called “the easement land”) upon the rights and covenants set forth herein, and
1.2 There is erected on the easement land a retaining wall which extends uniformly along that part of the common boundary of Lot 5, D.P. 160832 and Quay Street land so that the external face of the wall is coincident with the full distance (146.63 metres) of that boundary, and
1.3 Council have constructed a road and footpaths (Quay Street) on the dominant land along the common boundary and has requested the Crown to grant to the council the right to support the dominant land along the full distance of the easement land.
2.0 The rights acquired—The perpetual right to use the easement land for the purpose of supporting the dominant land.
