The Resource Management (Approval of Tranz Rail Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 1996

Pursuant to section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Minister for the Environment, hereby gives the following notice:

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Resource Management (Approval of Tranz Rail Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 1996.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Approval as requiring authority—Tranz Rail Limited is hereby approved as a requiring authority under section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, for its network utility operation being the construction and operation (including the maintenance, improvement, enhancement, expansion, realignment and alteration) of its railway line.

pursuant to section 41 of the State Sector Act 1988, the National Operations Manager, Ministry of Fisheries, hereby makes the following notice:

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Automatic Location Communicator) Notice 1996 (No. 1).

(2) This notice shall come into effect on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Interpretation—In this notice, “type approval” means an approval given by the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Fisheries under regulation 5 of the Fisheries (Satellite Vessel Monitoring) Regulations 1993.
