Land to be Set Apart for Education Purposes in the City of Wellington

Pursuant to section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Team Member, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Wellington, declares:

(a) the undivided one-twentieth share in the land described in the First Schedule hereto subject to the respective rights of way created by deeds No. 70890, 73912 and 78922, and to the right of way appurtenant to the land in certificate of title 89/244, to be set apart for education purposes and shall remain vested in the Crown.

(b) the undivided one-twentieth share in the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be set apart for education purposes and shall remain vested in the Crown.

(c) the undivided one-fourth share in the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, subject to the respective rights of way created by deeds No. 70890, 73912 and 78922, and to the right of way appurtenant to the land in certificate of title 89/244, to be set apart for education purposes and shall remain vested in the Crown.

Revoking an Amending Notice and Amending a Proclamation Taking Land for State Housing Purposes in the City of Porirua

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Team Member, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Wanganui, hereby:

1. Pursuant to section 54, revokes the amending notice dated 9th day of August 1995, amending a Proclamation taking land for State housing, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 17 August 1995, No. 81, at page 2245.

2. Pursuant to section 55, amends the Proclamation dated the 13th day of September 1960, taking land for State housing purposes, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 15 September 1960, No. 59 at page 1433 by adding to the body of the Proclamation after the words “State housing purposes”, the following:

“subject to the rights of way created by orders of Court 7730, 7732 and 8674 over Lot 4; marked ‘A’ on D.P. 68367”.

Amending a Notice Stopping Road (Greens Road) in the City of Palmerston North

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Team Member, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Wanganui, hereby amends the notice dated 17th day of January 1996, stopping a portion of road, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 25 January 1996, No. 6 at page 174 by:

1. Deleting from the body of the notice the reference to section [20 (3)] of the Public Works Act 1981.

2. Deleting from the body of the notice the words “and amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 27A/865, subject to memorandum of mortgage 706587.5”.

Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes – River Terrace, Waipukurau

Pursuant to sections 20 and 50 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Regional Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Napier, declares an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes which shall vest in The Hawke’s Bay Regional Council on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Amending a Notice Acquiring Land for Road, Road Stopped and Vested (State Highway No. 5), Mistletoe Hill, Hastings District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Regional Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Napier, hereby amends the notice dated the 12th day of February 1996, published in New Zealand Gazette of the 15th day of February 1996, No. 13, page 460, under the heading “land acquired for road, road stopped and vested” (State Highway No. 5), Mistletoe Hill, Hastings District” by substituting reference to certificate of title C1/1116 in recital (b) (i) for certificate of title C2/1116 and substituting reference to certificate of title C1/1118 in recital (b) (ii) for certificate of title C2/1118.
