Amendment of Notice

Pursuant to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Department of Conservation, Wellington, hereby amends the notice of classification of reserve published in New Zealand Gazette, 16 June 1994, No. 58, page 1976, by deleting the Schedule and substituting in its place the following Schedule.

Schedule

Wellington Land District—Porirua City

722 square metres, more or less, being Lot 39, D.P. 22782, situated in Block VIII, Packakariki Survey District. All certificate of title A3/57.

Amendment of Notice

Authorising the Exchange of Part of a Reserve for Other Land

Pursuant to section 15 of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby authorises the exchange of that part of the recreation reserve described in the First Schedule hereto, for the Maori land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

First Schedule

South Auckland Land District—Rotorua District

325 square metres, more or less, being Section 2, S.O. Plan 60157 (formerly part Lot 7, D.P. S. 35209). Part certificate of title 57C/121.

Recorded on N.Z.M.S. 261 U15 Sheet 7.4.

Second Schedule

South Auckland Land District—Rotorua District

159 square metres, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. Plan 60157, and being part Motutawa No. 2 Block (M.L. Plan 21607). Maori land no registration. Vested in certain owners by Maori Land Court partition order dated the 15th day of March 1974, as amended by an order made on the 1st day of July 1992.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Rotorua District Council on the 18th day of July 1995:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Rotorua District Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be a local purpose (community purposes) reserve within the meaning of the said Act.”.

410 square metres, more or less, being Lot 3, D.P. S. 65261, situated in Block II, Tarawera Survey District. All certificate of title C.T. 53A/327. Subject to a stormwater drainage easement in gross over the part marked “N” on plan D.P. S. 36622, created by transfer H. 561865.5, in favour of The Rotorua District Council, and the right of way easement created by easement certificate B. 166244.5, in favour of Lot 2, D.P. S. 65261.

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Waipa District Council hereby resolves that the land held by the said council in fee simple, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be a local purpose (openspace/carpark) reserve, within the meaning of the said Act.”

645 square metres, more or less, being Lot 2, D.P. S. 68125, situated in Block IX, Cambridge Survey District. All certificate of title 54C/935. Appurtenant hereto is right of way easement created by transmission B. 245363.
