Appointments, Promotions, Extensions, Transfers, Resignations and Retirements of Officers of the Royal New Zealand Navy

Pursuant to section 32 of the Defence Act 1990, Her Excellency the Governor-General has approved the following appointments, promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Naval Forces.

ROYAL NEW ZEALAND NAVY

The appointment of Lieutenant Commander M.D.E. Davies, B.SC.(ENG.), is extended until 1 August 1997.

Acting Commander L.A. Cocks relinquishes his acting rank with effect from 26 February 1996.

Lieutenant Commander Louise Claudette Joy Somervell is placed on the Retired List of the RNZN with effect from 24 February 1996.

The appointment of Lieutenant Commander W.T.M. Sullivan, B.SC.(COMP.), is extended until 26 November 2002.

The appointment of Lieutenant Commander D.C. Henderson is varied to 5 October 1997.

The seniority of Lieutenant Commander S. McKie is post-dated to 3 May 1995 with effect from 4 December 1995.

Corina Jane Bruce, B.SC., is re-appointed to the RNZN in the rank of Lieutenant, with seniority from 1 August 1989 and effect from 5 February 1996.
