Explanatory Note
This notice is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This notice, issued under section 14 of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988, amends the notice entitled “Final Determination: Dumping Investigation in Respect of Plasterboard From Thailand” dated 21 December 1989, published on page 4 of the New Zealand Gazette of 11 January 1990 and revokes the notice entitled “Final Determination: Dumping Investigation in Respect of Plasterboard From Thailand, Amendment No. 3 (Duty Reassessment)”, and published on pages 1143 and 1144 of the New Zealand Gazette of 11 May 1995. The effect of the notice is to revoke the imposition of anti-dumping duty on foil-backed plasterboard and increase the non-injurious FOB level which provides the basis for the calculation of anti-dumping duty for standard plasterboard imported from Thailand of the nominal dimensions specified in the notice.
