THE RIGHT HON. J. B. BOLGER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

Pursuant to section 3 of the Harbours Act 1950, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

Order

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Harbour Limits (Central Bay of Plenty) Order 1995.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. Central Bay of Plenty harbour limits redefined—The limits specified in the Schedule to this order are hereby defined as the limits of Central Bay of Plenty harbour.

  3. Revocations—(1) The Order in Council of 13 April 1993* defining the harbour of Maketu Estuary and Little Waihi Estuary, and sea and Waioeka and Otara River is hereby revoked.
    (2) The Order in Council of 11 July 1994† defining the harbour of Kaituna River is hereby revoked.
    (3) The Order in Council of 19 June 1986‡ defining the harbour of Whakatane is hereby revoked.

Schedule

Central Bay of Plenty

All the tidal waters of the Bay of Plenty contained within a line commencing from position 37° 44.5′ S and 176° 24.2′ E, thence in a 025° direction to position 37° 41.0′ S and 176° 26.0′ E, thence in a 111° direction to the northernmost point of Moutohora Island (Whale Island) at position 37° 50.8′ S and 176° 58.2′ E, thence in a 117° direction to the land in position 37° 59.4′ S and 177° 19.3′ E; and all the waters of the Kaituna River from the outlet of Lake Rotoiti to the tidal waters. Inner limits at Whakatane are defined at the State Highway No. 30 bridge over the Whakatane River.

Notice of Application to Amend an International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 14A of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, notice is hereby given that Air New Zealand Limited has applied for an amendment to its International Air Service Licence to enable the airline to operate scheduled international air services to points in the United Kingdom.

Further details of this proposal are available from the Secretary for Transport, Ministry of Transport, P.O. Box 3175, Wellington.

Any person or organisation wishing to make representations relating to this application must forward the representations to reach me on or before 21 March 1996.

Notice is hereby given that a copy of the roll of pig producers eligible to vote in the forthcoming election for one producer member to represent Ward No. 2 on the Pork Industry Board will be available for inspection at the following places:

  1. Head Office, NZ Pork Industry Board, Level Four, Walsh-Wrightson Tower, 94 Dixon Street, Wellington.

  2. Head Office, Ministry of Agriculture, ASB Building, Lambton Quay, Wellington.

  3. MAF Offices at Ruakura and Tauranga.

The roll will be available for inspection from 1 March to 30 April 1996.
