Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a papakainga for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Petipeti Karaka and Noah Kapu Karaka.

Pursuant to section 338 (2) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby declared to be included in the existing Maori reservation in respect of the land known as Lot 72 B, No. 3Y, No. 9A, Parish of Matata which was set apart for the purpose of a marae for the common use and benefit of Ngamaihi by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 201, page 4768 of the 31st day of October 1985.

Transfer of Unformed Legal Road in the District of Marlborough

Pursuant to section 323 of the Local Government Act 1974, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Land Information New Zealand, Christchurch, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto, has been transferred to the Crown by The Marlborough District Council, pursuant to the said section 323, and on the publication of this notice, the said land shall be deemed to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
