The Resource Management (Approval of Doubtless Bay Water Supply Company Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 1996

Pursuant to section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Minister for the Environment, hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Resource Management (Approval of Doubtless Bay Water Supply Company Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 1996.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Approval as requiring authority—Doubtless Bay Water Supply Company Limited is hereby approved as a requiring authority under section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, for its network utility operation being any works for the taking, holding and distribution of water for supply (including irrigation).

Take notice that with reference to the request for proposal process currently being undertaken by the Southern Regional Health Authority in relation to cardiac surgical services, and acting pursuant to section 25 of the Health and Disability Services Act 1993, I DIRECT the Southern Regional Health Authority not to enter into any contract pursuant to that process or by direct negotiation until a new Government has been formed and has considered the matter.
